Enough is Enough (EiE) aka Citizens for Fiscal Responsibility, is a grass-roots group of concerned citizens from Hamilton and Wenham that first came together four years ago to stop annual tax overrides that have pushed our property taxes into the stratosphere.

We have grown from a dozen people to a broadly represented group of over 450.
We have accomplished a lot over these four years but much more remains to be done. We truly need and welcome your participation. . If you are not already one of us, we would welcome your participation. Our strength is in our numbers.

EiE has led the fight to end property tax overrides while working to improve quality and efficiency in town services. When we started, we were dismissed and ignored by many town and school officials.  Today, our concerns are heard and our members participate in virtually all town committees. Among many of our accomplishments, we changed the Annual Town meetings to be held on Saturday mornings and as a result more citizens are able to participate in the democratic process. We petitioned both towns and won overwhelming support for an operational audit of the H-W Regional School system. You can learn more of our accomplishments by logging onto our website EnoughisEnoughHW.org.

While a lot has been done, we need to do even more to open government activities to citizen’s real concerns. While we welcome financial contributions to help us, our operating costs are low as we are all volunteers.

If you are interested in supporting our efforts or joining our group please send us(bobgray935@gmail.com) your name, address, phone number and an email address. That's all we need. There are no dues or fees. If you have some time, we urge you to volunteer to attend town committee meetings to express your views, and to write emails and letters to key community leaders. Our Combined voices are being heard and the more that participate the better the results will be. Get involved! Have a voice! It’s your hard earned tax dollars at stake.

Thank you,
Bob Gray, EiE membership chair.
